Tickets to Ride Hogwarts Express at Universal

You can board the Hogwarts Express at Hogsmeade at Islands of Adventure or near Diagon Alley at Universal Studios. Hogsmeade is where the Hogwarts castle is. Diagon Alley, where Harry shops for school supplies, is where the Gringotts bank is located.

Your ticket to enter the second park is scanned at the station when you enter the queue to board the Hogwarts Express.

The Hogwarts Express goes both directions and each route has a different experience. Fans of the Wizarding World will want to ride both sides to make sure they see all the details.

There is no way to experience this attraction without access to both of these neighboring theme parks.

When planning a 2026 Universal Orlando trip, you have additional options for tickets. Epic Universe, the third Universal Orlando theme park, opened in 2025. Some of the multi day tickets include this third theme park. This is not attached to the Hogwarts Express but does have its own Harry Potter area.

1 Day Universal Ticket with Multiple Parks Per Day

With a one day park to park ticket you can enjoy one day at both Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure on the same calendar date.

Epic Universe is not available to visit with a park to park ticket of this length. This park is around 20 minutes by bus, depending on the time of day, from the other two parks.

This type of ticket allows you to ride the Hogwarts Express between Hogsmeade in Universal Islands of Adventure and Diagon Alley in Universal Studios Florida.

2 Day Universal Ticket with Multiple Parks Per Day

With a two day park to park ticket there are options.

Option 1: You can enjoy one day at both Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure and one separate day at Epic Universe.

Option 2: You can enjoy two days at both Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure.

Both options allow you to ride the Hogwarts Express between Hogsmeade in Universal Islands of Adventure and Diagon Alley in Universal Studios Florida.

3 Day Universal Ticket with Multiple Parks Per Day

More flexibility is added when you purchase a ticket of 3 days or more in length. These allow you to choose between the following options.

Option 1: You can visit any park any day of your visit including Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure and Epic Universe.

Option 2: You can visit any park any day of your visit including Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, Epic Universe and the water park Universal Volcano Bay.

The more days you visit, the less you pay per day. A longer stay provides a better value on tickets. You may want to compare adding that extra day.

There are certain times throughout the year when tickets cost less. These are seasons when there is less demand.
