Top 8 Things to See at Epic Universe

There’s a lot to do at a brand new theme park. With every corner unexplored on your first visit, you’ll have your pick of things to see at Epic Universe when you go for the first time. As park goers make their first visit to Universal Epic Universe, these are some highlights to include in an itinerary.

Things to See at Epic Universe

1. The Ministry of Magic Ride

Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry is an ambitious new addition to the Wizarding World ride collection. The ride vehicle offers a wide range of motion, creating a thrilling journey with plenty of story.

In fact, you can only discover this part of Harry’s story in this attraction. The trial of Delores Umbridge provides additional details of what happens with Harry, Hermione, Ron and the status quo of the Wizarding World.

The Hogwarts castle attraction, located at Islands of Adventure in Orlando, is found at many Universal theme parks internationally. You should prioritize experiencing the ministry attraction because Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry is exclusive to Epic Universe.

2. Celestial Park: Flora by Day and Lights at Night

This central land is known as a sort of world between worlds. When you enter the park through the main portal, you’re transported to a world of synced water fountains and storied flowers. The landscaping and architecture in Celestial Park are really something to see and enjoy.

Catch a fountain show at random throughout the day or see the colorful one that closes the park nightly. The lights in this area sync with this show in a special way.

3. Universal’s Impressive Monsters Attraction

Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment is filled with vibrant animatronics of Universal’s classic characters. You’ll find yourself stuck in the middle of an epic battle between Dracula and Frankenstein’s monster. The attraction asks who the real monster is in a unique story that’s just spooky enough.

Tip: Not only can you use the child swap room if the little ones in your party aren’t riding but you can get a pass from the Team Member at the entrance so they don’t even have to go through the queue if needed.

4. Take a Roller Coaster Ride on a Comet

Stardust Racers will have you feeling like you’re traveling at light speed. There are multiple launches that are out of this world and send your dueling ride vehicle soaring along the track. Catch the looks on the faces of the other racers as your track intertwines with theirs.

With two different tracks and the option to ride this outdoor coaster during the day or at night, it will take four rides to experience all of the variations. Stardust Racers is one of the top things to see at Epic Universe.

Tip: For an amazing view, try riding at sunset when the vehicles are lit up but you can still see the details of the park.

5. A Dragon Themed Story Coaster

Hiccup’s Wing Gliders takes riders on a scenic, outdoor journey through the Isle of Berk. There are plenty of dragons along the way as you twist and turn around the track. Spot a Monstrous Nightmare if you’re lucky! There are a decent number of animatronics on this rollercoaster that brings just the right amount of thrill.

6. Soar at The Untrainable Dragon Show

The How to Train Your Dragon films enchanted viewers of all ages with heroic viking tales. Expect to see Toothless and other dragons in this heartwarming story with impressive sets and effects. The Untrainable Dragon includes live music, dancing and detailed costumes and is set in an indoor theater.

7. Race with Mario and the Gang

Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge lets you take the wheel and race with the characters you know and love. This ride introduces a new style of attraction experience. The colorful sets are part real life and part virtual reality.

This theme park land and attraction exist in other Universal parks but may be different in size and layout. If you’ve enjoyed it elsewhere, this could be one to skip so you don’t miss other one of a kind offerings. Those who haven’t been on this ride anywhere else will want to line up for it! The queue has lots of references to the Mario Kart games over the years.

8. Dine in an Enchanting Ocean Inspired Setting

Celestial Park’s charm washes over the restaurants too. In Atlantic you’ll enjoy elevated dining with wow worthy views of the park’s fountains. At night, the ornamental fish and other interior elements glow with the show outdoors.

Atlantic has an excellent menu but the interior is one of the prettiest things to see at Epic Universe.
