The EPCOT Snacks You Shouldn’t Miss
If there’s one thing worth taking seriously during a Walt Disney World vacation, it’s snacks. We don’t have snack money to waste at Disney, so it only makes sense to share the ones that are truly worth your precious snack dollars. These aren’t festival favorites that disappear with the season; these are tried-and-true, year-round EPCOT snacks that should earn a spot on your must-do list every single visit.
Whether you’re visiting EPCOT for the first time or the fiftieth, these three World Showcase treats are worth every penny. Let’s get into it.
What Should You Try at Norway’s Kringla Bakeri og Kafé?
First stop: the Norway pavilion. Inside Kringla Bakeri og Kafé, you’ll find a relatively new addition that’s quickly become a fan favorite: the Cinnamon Roll with Orange Cream Cheese Icing, priced at $7.49.

If you enjoy citrus flavors even remotely, make a beeline to Kringla and get one. The cast member will pop it in the oven so it’s toasty and warm with a soft interior, and then they’ll ask if you’d like it topped with a generous dollop of orange cream cheese frosting. The correct answer here is always yes. You want that icing, and you want as much of it as you can get.

It pairs beautifully with any beverage, but a cup of coffee from the bakery is the perfect companion. Grab a seat in the shaded outdoor seating area behind the shop and enjoy every morsel. Kringla Bakeri og Kafé is located between the Mexico and China pavilions and opens with the park, making it one of the few World Showcase spots available for an early morning treat.
Is the Cookie Sandwich at Germany’s Karamell-Küche Worth It?
Next, we’re heading around the World Showcase to the Germany pavilion. Get those steps in, because this stop is sweetness overload in the best possible way.
Karamell-Küche (German for “caramel kitchen”) is a Werther’s Original-sponsored shop that fills the air with the scent of buttery caramel the moment you walk by. You’re looking for whichever version of the caramel cookie sandwich they have available, whether it’s the Snickerdoodle or the seasonal Gingerbread variety. Both are priced around $7.29 and both are incredible.

Picture two amazing Werther’s cookies sandwiched together with the most delicate, caramel-forward salted buttercream frosting you can imagine. It’s pure bliss, and it’s the perfect thing for a cooler evening in everyone’s favorite park.
Here’s a bonus tip for DVC Members and Annual Passholders: Karamell-Küche is officially a Disney merchandise location, which means applicable discounts can be used on your purchase. That makes an already great treat an even better value.
Why Is L’Artisan des Glaces EPCOT’s Biggest Must-Do Snack?
Our last stop on the must-do snack list brings us to the France pavilion and L’Artisan des Glaces. If you’ve rounded the corner into the back of France and seen the line coming out of this little ice cream shop, you may have been tempted to skip it. Please don’t.

Two things to know: that line moves faster than you think, and whatever time you spend waiting is absolutely worth it. This is ice cream unlike anything you’ve ever had. It’s the creamiest, richest, most beautiful ice cream I’ve ever tasted, and ice cream is one of my favorite things to have literally anywhere.

The menu here is simple, and the toppings are few. You’re not here for a loaded sundae. You’re here for a scoop or two of handcrafted perfection, with 16 flavors of ice cream and sorbet (and macarons!) to choose from. A single scoop starts at $4.69 and a double is $7.95. But if you really want to treat yourself, order the Croque Glacé, an ice cream brioche sandwich priced at $9.50. Pick your flavor, choose your sauce, and they’ll press it warm right in front of you. The outside is toasty and the inside is cool and creamy. It’s a meal in and of itself, and I’m not even kidding.
Out of all the snacks in the park, this is the biggest must-do. L’Artisan des Glaces is Shangri-La for ice cream lovers.
What’s the Best Way to Tackle These EPCOT Snacks?
If you’re planning a snack crawl, start at Norway’s Kringla Bakeri og Kafé early in the day when World Showcase opens. Make your way to Germany’s Karamell-Küche mid-afternoon, and save L’Artisan des Glaces in France for the grand finale.
These are the snacks that keep me coming back to EPCOT, and I’m confident they’ll earn a permanent spot on your list, too. So what about you? What’s your favorite EPCOT snack that you’d recommend to first-time or fiftieth-time park visitors?
